City Key ID Event in the 39th Ward

July 13, 2018

Alderman Margaret Laurino will be hosting the CityKey ID event at the Albany Park Library at 3401 W. Foster Ave. on Friday July 13, 2018 from 10:00am-2:00pm.

The CityKey ID serves as a government-issued ID, a library card, and a Ventra card at the same time. Chicago residents will be able to use this card for benefits to cultural institutions and local businesses throughout the city.

Chicago residents of all ages are eligible to apply for the CityKey card. Please note that this event is on a first-come, first-served basis, and you may experience long wait times. About 75-100 CityKey ID cards will be printed for the July 13 mobile site event.

Some applicants may be turned away due to capacity and limited resources; however, the City Clerk’s office is working to manage the demand for the CityKey card. Chicago residents can also make an appointment with the Clerk’s Office to apply for the ID here.

Please bring a proof of identity and a proof of residency.

The application for the CityKey ID is available here.
